When you first create a newsletter draft, we give it an automatic subject line, comprised of the newsletter title (find out how to change that here), and an issue number.

Here’s how it will look on your ‘Issues’ page:

But what if you want to write your own subject line? And what if you want to remove the part where it says ‘Issue #1’? That’s easily possible by clicking ‘Edit’ to the right of your newsletter to bring up the ‘Create’ page.

In the screenshot below, you can edit the text at the top, next to where it says ‘Subject’:

The process for this is very similar! From the ‘Issues’ tab, click the drop-down arrow next to your newsletter, then select ‘Edit issue’:

Your newsletter issue will open in the Revue editor, and you can change the subject line exactly as you would in a draft.
