There are a couple of ways to do this, depending on whether or not you’d like to keep your Revue email address as the one your readers see in their inbox.
In both cases, head to ‘Account Settings’ and then the ‘Profile’ tab...
Keep Revue address:
Scroll down to ‘USERNAME’, and change it to what you’d like it to be by clicking ‘Edit’.
NB. If you change this field, remember to let people know your profile URL has also changed!
Use a custom address:
You can also opt to use your own email address, or a special one you've set up for this purpose. To do that, deselect the ‘Use Revue email address’ box next to ‘EMAIL ADDRESS’ in Account Settings:
You will then be able to type in any email address you choose next to where it says ‘From’:
Remember to save your changes!
If you use a custom 'From' address, some email providers might get suspicious because even though the email appears to come from your email domain, it's still technically coming from Revue. This can result in readers seeing a warning banner in their inbox when they open your email.
To resolve this, you'll want to change your SPF record, which essentially tells the recipient mail server that we're allowed to send emails on your behalf.
Head to your DNS, find the domain you use for your custom email address, and set up an SPF record containing this information:
v=spf1 include:spf.revue.co ~all
And that's it — you're all set!
