Congratulations on making the choice to switch! We’re kinda biased, but we think you made the right call.
First, welcome to Revue! We make it easy for journalists, writer and creators to send a newsletter — and make money with it. It’s great to have you on board.
Regardless of what other platforms have to offer, we can proudly say Revue is the easiest newsletter tool you can possibly use, your issues will look great and we’re always here to lend a helping hand.
So let’s get cracking. How can you migrate to Revue without any hassle? Importing your subscriber list couldn’t be easier. Just create an account, follow the steps below, and you’ll be done and dusted before you know it.
How to import subscribers
Step 1: Export your subscriber list from your former email platform
This should be easy to do — just make sure it’s in the form of a CSV or TXT file. If you were using MailChimp, you can skip this step.
Tip: Some platforms will export your list with an extra column of information (such as Subscribe Date). You’ll need to delete that column so you’re left with one column for email addresses, one for first names and one for surnames. Remove any headers, and you’re good to go.
Step 2: Import your list into your Revue account
On the ‘Subscribers’ page in your account, click the ‘Add subscribers’ button.
In the drop-down list that pops up, you can:
- Manually add an individual subscriber (Fill in their email, and first or last name — If you have permission, of course)
- Import your list from MailChimp (Just use your MailChimp login to authorize)
- Import your list as a CSV or TXT file, or by pasting addresses (Check out the info on the right hand side of the page for a reminder on formatting)
And that’s it! Your list has been imported.
